The Anti Riot Helmet Mould is a specialized injection moulding tool engineered to produce high-strength protective helmet shells used by law enforcement, military, and security personnel. At Galaxy, we design and manufacture these moulds to meet rigorous impact resistance standards, dimensional accuracy requirements, and mass production efficiency. Our anti riot helmet mould solutions combine advanced steel selection, precision CNC machining, and optimized cooling systems to deliver consistent part quality over hundreds of thousands of cycles. Whether you need a single-cavity prototype tool or a multi-cavity production mould, Galaxy provides a complete engineering package from DFM analysis to on-site commissioning.
Galaxy anti riot helmet moulds are built for demanding environments. The helmet shell must withstand blunt force impacts, projectiles, and extreme weather while maintaining structural integrity. This requires the mould to produce parts with uniform wall thickness, minimal internal stress, and excellent surface finish. Galaxy achieves this through careful gating design, balanced runner systems, and precise temperature control. Our engineering team works closely with clients to optimize part geometry, material selection, and mould configuration for high-volume manufacturing.
Galaxy applies a strict quality control protocol to every anti riot helmet mould. Before shipment, the mould undergoes a comprehensive inspection using coordinate measuring machines (CMM), hardness testers, surface profilometers, and 3D scanning. We also perform a dimensional layout of sample parts against the customer-approved CAD model. Each mould is delivered with a complete documentation package, including material certificates, heat treatment reports, CMM reports, and a detailed maintenance manual. Galaxy is certified to ISO 9001:2015, and our moulds can be produced to meet CE, NIJ, or other regional helmet standards upon request.
Galaxy has two decades of experience in precision mould making for protective equipment. Our engineering team understands the unique challenges of moulding high-viscosity engineering resins like polycarbonate, ABS/PC blends, and fiber-reinforced nylons. We invest in advanced manufacturing equipment, including 5-axis CNC machines, wire EDM, and laser welding systems, to maintain tight tolerances and fast delivery. Our global customer base includes helmet manufacturers in North America, Europe, and Asia. When you work with Galaxy, you receive direct access to our design engineers, transparent pricing, and after-sales support that extends throughout the entire mould life.
What materials can be processed ?
Galaxy anti riot helmet moulds are compatible with a wide range of thermoplastic resins commonly used for protective helmet shells. These include polycarbonate (PC), ABS/PC blends, high-impact polystyrene (HIPS), and glass-filled nylon (PA6/PA66 with 10-30% glass fiber).
How many cavities can Galaxy design?
Galaxy can design anti riot helmet moulds with 1, 2, 4, 6, or 8 cavities, depending on the helmet shell size and available injection moulding machine clamping force. For a standard full-size riot helmet shell with a projected area of approximately 700 to 1000 cm² per cavity, a four-cavity mould typically requires a press with at least 800 to 1000 tons of clamping force.
What certifications or quality standards does Galaxy follow?
Galaxy operates under ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems. Our moulds can be produced to meet the requirements of international helmet standards such as NIJ 0104.02, EN 397, EN 443, and ASTM E2954, depending on the end-user specification. We provide material certificates, heat treatment reports, and CMM inspection reports with every mould.
Can Galaxy provide design support for helmet shell geometry?
Yes. Galaxy offers complete design support from concept to production. Our engineers can review your existing helmet shell CAD model and provide recommendations for draft angles, wall thickness, rib placement, and gate location to improve mouldability.
